1940s handmade tulle gown
This piece is a show-stopper.
Handmade tulle gown with sheer puff sleeves and bow detailing at waist. Fastens with rear button closures.
Sizing
VERY petite, best for a 23-24” waist and 30” bust (as you can see, I was unable to fasten the buttons above the waist).
Measurements
Bust 15” | Waist 11.5” | Hip free | Length 50”
Condition
Remarkably good vintage condition for its age, with moderate signs of wear and a few minor flaws, which are documented in the photos. There are no holes in the tulle and all 22 original button closures are intact and functional. While the taffeta underskirt is in great shape, there are a few spots on the tulle skirt, as well as some faint staining on the bodice. Please see photos for condition.
